Stop one in our Costa Rica Vacation

I did a summer study abroad program in Costa Rica in college with my best friends, and promised to come back together someday... just a couple years later 😉 we went back! .  PURA VIDA LOVES!!! 🏄🏼‍♀️🏝  

Tamarindo, Costa Rica

We flew into Costa Rica and traveled directly to Tamarindo, my favorite little surf town!  I am all about one lane beach towns, especially when there is a friend crew of 12 with you!  Everything is simpler when you don’t have to drive in a big city!   

I would definitely reccomend a trip to Tamarindo, the beaches were great, the food was good, and the vibe was perfect.  We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Esplendor and it was beautiful!  The hotel staff was great and were very helpful in providing advice on where we should go and what we should do.

Look at the infinity pool!  It speaks for itself!  

We only had a few days in Tamarindo, but after staying there I can easily see myself coming back for a longer stay!  The vibe and atmosphere of the town was indescribable, and while we were there we couldn't help but feel relaxed.

 The main part of town consists of a single road, which is easily walkable, so we spent quite a bit of time exploring the various shops and restaurants along the main street.

 There is something mesmerizing about watching the sun disappear into the ocean on the horizon, and no matter where we were at in Tamarindo we made not to miss the sunset. 

So if you are looking for a small little beach town, that still has it's charm, then Tamarindo should definitely be put on your list.  I would say hurry and get there, because I can see this little town getting commercialized soon!
