Jackson Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the United States. It’s located in Grand Teton National Park which is just south of Yellowstone National Park, or just north of Jackson, Wyoming. If you have been on Instagram, you have undoubtable seen some stunning images from this place.

Yellowstone Park

It is an easy hour drive from Yellowstone National Park, and it’s a beautiful drive. We took a day trip to the lake and had the best day. They have canoes to rent and plenty of beach to play at. Our trip took us through the park and we found several beautiful lakes to stop at on your way. If you are lucky like we were you may even see some wildlife.

Canoe Rental

While you are there I would recommend renting a canoe. Single Lake canoes rents them for $25 an hour it is worth every penny.

Jackon Lake is one of the most picturesque places I’ve been too. The lake is bordered by the Teton Range of the Rocky Mounatins to the west and no matter which direction you look the scenery is amazing. We spent the entire day exploring the lake and laughing and playing on the shoreline.
